Vung Tau is a city in Southern Vietnam, about 125km from Ho Chi Minh City. Its close location to Saigon and its beauty and fresh air makes it a very popular destination for weekends. Vung Tau is the tourist and commercial center of B Rịa - Vũng Tàu.

  • from saigon, take a 1 hour and 45 min. hydrofoil ferry ride to vung tau. when there ask the people with motorbikes to bring you to the beach( i stayed in bimexco, pretty good and cheap)...the beach has great potential! you can also go to the jesus christ statue though a very long flight of stairs … • Ivan A.
