Whittier

Whittier is a city in Los Angeles County in Southern California. Although bordered on the west and north by freeways, Whittier is harder to get to by car than most places in the San Gabriel Valley. This gives parts of the city a secluded feel, but what residents gain in peace and quiet they pay for in long commutes.

  • I worked in Whittier for 2 years at a Honda, Kawasaki, Sea-Doo dealer. The type of ethnicities you will find is mostly fourth and fifth generation hispanics. Lots of sportbike crews whom like to 'stunt'. • Eddie V.
  • One spot you gotta check out is uptown, during the fair its full of fun and friends from all over the local area.Also in uptown is the farmers market frsh produce..yum! Oh and Whittier is home to California's biggest land fill. • Danny
