Yokohama

Located on the western coast of Tokyo Bay directly south of Tokyo, Yokohama is the second largest city in Japan and one of the cities most used to seeing foreigners. Yokohama was the first port opened up to foreign trade after the opening of Japan in 1854.

  • I spent a memorable evening in Yokohama's Chinatown. Just steps away from the harbor, it's the largest Chinatown in Japan. It features a temple, nine colorful gates, and a Food Theme Park with a lot of very tasty food!  Lindsay F.
