Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Travel Tips
Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk travel tips courtesy of GeckoGo
  • Start from Lenin Square and explore the city...you may be pleasantly suprised!  Nick P.
  • It is the only place in the world where I had to take my luggage on the tarmac and hand it up to a guy trying to pull it in to the plane and balance it with all the other suitcases - be careful here if you are not young and strong, or pack light ;) Great Korean restaurants here, though do not waste …  Joseph T.
  • Do try sea food in Yuzhno, although it is more expensive to by local salmon rather than from elsewhere. Red caviar is excellent quality and quite cheap. Try Yuzhno's fish market (rynok).  Bibi B.
