BY ROAD Zirakpur falls on the intersection of Delhi-Chandigarh highway, Shimla-Delhi highway and Patiala-Chandigarh highway,about 3 kms before Chandigarh when coming from Delhi. All roadway buses stop here as well as the Volvo buses running on that route. Buses coming from Patiala or Rajpura also stops here. Local as well as mini AC CTU buses from Chandigarh ISBT 43 and ISBT 17 also operates between Chandigarh and Zirakpur. Besides Auto Rickshaws on sharing basis also ply on the Zirakpur Chandigarh Road.

BY TRAIN The nearest railway station is the Chandigarh railway station which is about 7-8 kms from Zirakpur.

BY AIR The Chandigarh Airport is closer to Zirakpur than to Chandigarh itself, it is about 6 kms from Zirakpur.
